I do feel sorry for you non-residents having to pay so much for a out-of-state licenses but that is why I live here! On the the other side of the fence I am also tired of paying the high license costs! It is apparent that this state is out to make money on licenses and fines. I pay $40 for every license and after an elk tag, deer tag, bear tag, antelope tag, extra cow tag, etc., and gas the wallet hurts but we are all in the same boat. I think we should leave youth licenses cost low so that we bring more kids into the sport and not scrare them away because of high license costs. I believe licenses should be cheaper for residents and non-residents. What can we do?

Dave, I could not agree with you more!just look at the price of a non-resident junior tag, up until 07 colorado was charging a 17 year old (non-resident)the same price as an adult but a few phone calls and a so called miss print in the colorado outdoors guide, via a law suite threat changed that,ya buddy!!my kid was rite in the middle of it.I think a refund for all the 17 year old kids that paid full boat for that year is due.I by the due belive that resident hunters should pay a little more then they are now, and non-residents should pay a fair price, how about group discounts;I have thought about that for a long time(i will wright something about that real soon)last thougt for now,a junior is a junior; resident or non! this is truly an issue with me. GOOD POST DAVE !!! SO TRUE, KELLY

For the next 5 years you will set the big game season structure. The big game on all Federal land belongs to all the people, not Colorado. undoubtedly you will screw the non-resident more to make for the fact were not coming like we use to, you have priced the biggest majority of us out of hunting in Colorado, thank you greedy bastards for that. Because of your price gouging and the oil company's price gouging (at least the oil companies gouge all of us not just non-residents) we wont be coming to Colorado like the good old days. And to all the people that depend on us spending money each hunting season in your business, were not coming like we use to, so look to your greedy Wildlife commission. You need to put pressure on your greedy Governor to stop treating people so badly by gouging us. And to the Resident hunters that think this is turning out so great, you will have it all to your self's, you are going to find out the real deal with all that non-resident money being missing. People are putting more pressure on our U S Senators and U S House Representatives to control all the U S Lands for a Federal Hunting Licenses on our lands in the west, that it would cost us all the same.
