Hunters and anglers interested in learning more about issues facing Colorado’s wildlife are invited to attend a public meeting Nov. 18. The southeast region Sportsmen’s Advisory Group will meet at 6 p.m. at the Colorado Division of Wildlife office at 4255 Sinton Road in Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) is initiating a new grant program to provide funding for shooting ranges and shooting areas in Colorado. The goal of the grant program is to increase public recreational shooting opportunities for hunter education, marksmanship training, youth shooting opportunities and other recreational shooting throughout the state.
