Conservation of prairie dogs in west-central Colorado will be the subject of an upcoming workshop to be held Nov. 9 at the Bill Heddles Recreation Center in Delta. The workshop is part of the process for implementation of the Colorado Gunnison’s Prairie Dog and White-tailed Prairie Dog Conservation Strategy which was developed by the Colorado Division of Wildlife and various stakeholders.
